On 15 January, the Dutch government announced an additional statutory minimum wage increase of 1.2% with effect from 1 July 2024. In the Netherlands, the minimum wage is adjusted every six months in line with inflation. This increase, which is the result of an amendment by the House of Representatives, will come on top of the rise resulting from the six-monthly indexation.
