The anti-discrimination Commission (Commissie Gelijke Behandeling, CGB), set up in 1994, gives legal rulings that are non-binding but which help building up the caselaw. In 67% of cases, according to the CGB, court rulings followed the Commission’s decisions. In total, the CGB’s 70 employees get 700 complaints a year, 400 of which concern the work place.
