According to a study commissioned to the Research Group office by the association of temporary agencies (ABU), the number of temporary work agencies which do not fully respect labor law is increasing in the Netherlands. In 2007, at least 115.000 people were posted by temporary work agencies which didn’t respect minimum wage and didn’t contribute to unemployment insurance. These practices concerned less than 85.000 people in 2006.
