Spain/ Catalonian independence row causes exodus of firms. Since the illegal self-determination referendum took place in Catalonia, organised by pro-independence authorities in the regional government (Generalitat) on October 1, more than 1,700 companies have decided to move their headquarters out of the region. The trend was initiated by the largest companies, with six out of the seven Catalan companies listed on the Ibex 35 moving their headquarters to Madrid, Valencia or Alicante in the days
