On 08 April 2018, 15 hours after the date that was set for strike action, agreement was eventually found between the employers’ NHO body, and the LO and YS union confederations. Extracting compromise from both sides the agreement primarily intends for an average salary increase of 2.8%, clearer rules on travel, accommodation and food costs, as well as on the AFP pension scheme.
