…Norway: bill against ‘forced’ part-time work
The government recently introduced new legislative measures aiming to combat “forced part-time work.” The point is to help employees who have a part-time contract but would like to work full time. This bill was presented on March 15, 2013 and is the consequence of a white paper published in 2011 as it is largely based on the tracks it proposed, including further dialogue between the management and unions on the subject.
