On April 26, the LO Finans union and the Finans Norge employers’ organization reached an agreement on wage increases. The general increase is at least 0.6 percent on May 2013 within a general budget of 3.93 percent. However, LO Finans deplored the absence of a true wage policy restoring balance between men and women’s wages. In the finance sector, the average gap is 30 percent, for only 10 percent at national level. (Ref. 130431)
