On 02 February Poland’s Council of Ministers delivered a draft law to parliament reforming its temporary worker regime. The initiative was due to a spectacular rise in the recourse to temporary work and a mushrooming in the number of interim employment agencies, which are not always known for their honesty. Placement of workers from abroad in user companies operating in Poland will receive particularly attention.
The text aims to improve practices in the temporary employment sector and especially as regards employee recruitment conditions and legal protection for user companies that turn to interim employment agencies for employment services.
