As of 30 September 2023, a new list of prohibited occupations for minors aged over 15 but under 18 will come into force. Employers will not be allowed to request minors (aged 15-18) to perform work involving “excessive physical effort or forced bodily positions, putting their proper mental development at risk.” Minors are not allowed to be exposed to the harmful effects of chemical, dust, physical, or biological factors.
