After consulting social partners on the plan to amend the labour code to adapt it to European law (see our article 070668), the Labour Secretary presented an amended plan which takes into account unions and employers' stands on the provisions concerning resting time, the reference period, harassment and health and security at work. Resting time – The initial bill planned, in the event the employee could not use their daily 11-hour resting time, that a similar resting time would be granted to them in a maximum 7-day delay.
