Poland is preparing a deep reform for its early retirement system. Currently, 1,250,000 Polish employees are entitled to it, because they performed jobs regarded as "painful". A bill aiming at restricting the conditions will be discussed before Parliament tomorrow. (Ref. 070339)
Restrictive conditions to early retirement. With this reform, set up by the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, there will now be two definitions of what painful work is: 1/ work performed in very hard conditions; 2/ work with a special character, that is to say jobs where natural weakening of physical and psychological abilities can endanger public security.
