Poland: unions from the site producing the new Fiat 500 threaten to go on strike

The day after the new version of the mythical Fiat 500 was officially presented, unions from the Tychy factory - the only one to make the new model - asked for a general wage increase. If their demands are not satisfied, unions are threatening to launch a strike in several countries where the car manufacturer is present. (Ref. 070614)

Unions from the Tychy factory, building the Fiat Cinquecento’s new model, asked for the increase of the 1.435 zlotys (about 360 euros) minimum wage to 2.800 zlotys (about 700 euros) and a wage increase going as high as 80% for workers with the most skills.
