Alongside the signing on 07 March of PSA Group's new global framework CSR agreement (see our article 10104), Planet Labor had the opportunity to interview Valter Sanches on both his vision and expectations for company transnational negotiation and other issues the union federation will be addressing in the upcoming months.
As a relatively recent leader of the global union federation how do you assess these global agreements?
Valter Sanches. We have this kind of agreement with many companies. At a personal level, with one of the founding organization of IndustriALL Global, the international metal workers federation, I was part of the negotiation team for one of the first agreements that was signed with Daimler in 2002.
