Romania: ILO convention on the elimination of violence and harassment in the world of work ratified

A bill ratifying ILO Convention No. 190/2019 on the elimination of violence and harassment in the world of work was adopted by the Romanian parliament on 4 March. It must now be promulgated and published in the country’s official journal. Ratification implies that the Romanian government is applying the terms of the ILO convention. The convention reiterates the central role of employers in preventing violence and harassment, and in particular in putting in place measures to guarantee means of r
