On October 25 and 26, 2007, Siemens' staff representatives from 17 countries gathered in Frankfurt for the third time since 2005. Their goal is to create a global advisory committee for staff representatives and to sign an international framework agreement with the management, forcing it to respect the ILO and OECD standards in terms of working conditions and governance.
