On 01 October both the trade unions and the confederation of savings banks (CECA) signed the new collective agreement regulating remote working conditions for the savings banks sector. The agreement runs until 31 December 2023, concerns 66,000 employees, and is the first to adapt its content to the decree-law regulating remote working that the government approved on 22 September, (c.f. article No. 11138).
The agreement (to be published in the Official Bulletin in November) establishes working conditions for employees who carry out at least 30% of their activity remotely and it confirms that employers undertake to provide staff with the necessary equipment including a computer, telephone, digital device, cell phone, effective WiFi, and an ergonomic seat.
