Spain: Allianz signs a series of agreements that will serve as a framework for its new hybrid work model

On 27 April, Allianz insurance announced it had signed three agreements with the relevant trade unions, that frame teleworking, digital disconnection, and the control of working time. In this way the company’s collective agreement can dynamically include changes introduced in Spain’s labor legislation on these three topics and simultaneously implement the company’s new project based on flexibility and team autonomy.

Allianz’s new corporate project is based on three agreements signed with the trade unions on 27 April 2021, that address teleworking, the right to disconnect, and the control of working hours. The insurer’s global ‘Our moment’ project marks a major shift towards a ‘new hybrid work model’ and ‘a culture of goal setting and efficiency, in the face of the culture of face-to-face work.’ Human Resources Manager Gisela Subirà calls it an approach that stems from the lessons learned from the pandemic,
