On 23 July, the Council of Ministers approved a bill abolishing the automatic termination of employment contracts in the event of an employee’s permanent disability being recognised. From now on, employment contracts may only be terminated if the employee so decides. However, employers will be required to make “reasonable adjustments” to the disabled person’s workstation. The text provides for a period of three months to adapt or facilitate a change of post, in line with the employee’s profile
