Nearly two years after the labor market reform implemented in February 2012, the union is taking stock of the practical impact of the new law and suggests redirecting its strategy towards businesses and work places. The document, entitled “Union action criteria,” launches a reflection on union’s role and, most importantly, is a working tool for union units to renegotiate collective agreements in 2014, in order to be in keeping with new economic and social realities in businesses and sectors. Key routes to action are the quality and stability of employment, the guarantee of social rights and the recovery of buying power.
