Social partners share a common analysis of the need to extend one more year the agreement of wage reduction effective in Spain since 2007. The goal of this maintained austerity is to strengthen companies' stability in front of the uncertainties caused by the international financial crisis and the slowdown of the real estate sector. In addition, negotiations are about to be concluded on the introduction of a minimum €1.000 payment in the public sector and increasing minimum wage to 600 euros in the private sector. (Ref. 070884)
