On 29 March, unions and employers announced they had signed the first national collective agreement for the technology industry and the metal services sector, which guarantees a minimum level of cover for all workers in the sector.
The negotiation committee for the national metals agreement (AESM) announced that an agreement had been struck that converted the current metal agreement, which regulated working conditions in the sector, into a national metal collective agreement.
