Spain: new program promotes women’s access to companies’ top

40 executive women were chosen by their company to follow a training cycle and be promoted faster in order to move faster towards effective and real equal opportunities.  This initiative, called “Promociona,” is organized together with the ESADE business school and funded by Norwegian funds as part of the European economic area’s financial mechanism.  It is promoted by the CEOE employers’ organization, which involved active businesses and is counting on the support of the Ministry of Health and Social Affairs.  .  (Ref.  130726)

For 5 months, the participants will follow a cycle combining training, coaching and tutoring from the managing executives, to help them improve their leadership and professional networks. At the same time, the companies that spotted them and chose them for their potential commit to give them a promotion in the company.
