Known for his radical positions and for being in favor of maximum labor market flexibility, Arturo Fernandez is one of the key figures of the Spanish employers’ sphere. Chair of the Madrid employers’ organization since 2007, he just won a 3rd term in spite of criticism regarding his obscure management. His organization is currently facing an ongoing investigation on irregularities in the use of employers’ funds aimed for vocational training.
