After the Spanish daily paper revealed a system of supplementary financial payments made to leaders and delegates in the financial services section of the COMFIA CCOO, the confederation has committed to making the leaders’ remuneration system homogeneous. These revelations come at a time when questions have been raised over the role of the banking union in negotiations over a redundancy plan currently underway at Barclays Bank’s Spanish branch.
A group of CCOO militants gathered to protest the union’s ‘opaque’ management.
