On 07 September, Spain’s Council of Ministers approved the final text of the legislative project to reorganize and integrate vocational training, which was prepared in collaboration with the social partners. The text, which is now starting its parliamentary journey, should be approved in the coming months. It provides for the unification of initial and ongoing training and emphasizes the importance of dual training with at least 25% of time spent in companies, the overall goal of which is to develop an apprenticeship system that is better connected to the labour market.
