The SEKO service and communication union and Sveriges Byggindustrier construction employers’ organization signed a new agreement on April 12 for the construction of roads and railways. The wage increases are in line with other agreements but the parties have decided, and this is new, to work together on working environment. (Ref. 130330)
Realistic wage increase. The partners reached a 3-year agreement that will apply between April 1, 2013 and April 31, 2016. It provides for an increase amounting to SEK 697/month (€81.5) as long as the agreement is in force. It is divided as follows:
– SEK 621/month (€72.5) on April 1, 2013;
– SEK 727/month (€85) on May 1, 2014;
– and SEK 743/month (€87) on May 1, 2015.
Thus, average pay will amount to:
– SEK 24,360/month (€2,850) on April 1, 2013;
– SEK 25,143/month (€
