sh government launched a national training program for women (styrelsekraft) with two objectives: to make visible and distinguish women with competence for membership of company boards as well as providing training for these posts. (Ref. 090393)

According to Maud Olofson, Minister for Trade and Industry,
Sweden needs more women on company boards inasmuch as Swedish firms cannot
afford to deprive themselves of their competence. For this reason, the
