The final text thus goes much further that envisaged (see our article n° 06145) since it asks the Commission to intervene on two “taboo” subjects : restructurings and the revision of the directive on the European work’s council. Mr Cottigny is astonished himself “that the EPP (European People’s Party) voted the amendments which demand legislative intervention on these subjects”.
Anticipating
