During a press conference on December 15, 2006, in Hamburg, Michael Frenzel, president of the board of directors of the German group of tourism and maritime transport TUI, announced a drastic costs reduction in its tourism division. According to a TUI spokesman, the German workers' representatives and the European work's council were informed at the same time. (Ref. 061265)
