Unilever: the EWC is opposed to the cut of 20.000 jobs

The day after the Anglo-Dutch group's CEO, Patrick Cescau, told the press about the suppression of 20.000 jobs mainly located in Europe in five years, the EWC published a declaration in which it declared itself ready "to fight in every factory for every job." The EWC's selected committee will meet with the management on September 4. The European trade union federation representing the food industry (EFFAT) is planning to organize a coordination meeting with the group's union representatives "to decide which union answer to bring to this restructuring."
