More than 4 million UK citizens will receive free digital training over the next few years. This is the promise UK prime minister Theresa May has made, as part of plans to build for the country’s post-Brexit future. The premier hopes that a focus on the new Digital Strategy, among other things, will help make sure the UK does not get left behind. The minister also promised that the government will “work closely with businesses and others to make sure the benefits and opportunities are spread across the country so nobody is left behind”.
