On 4 February, the UK government introduced a bill confirming increases in the Living Wage and the Minimum Wage from 1 April. The Living Wage will rise from £11.44 to £12.21 gross per hour. This 6.7% increase, equivalent to an extra £1,400 a year for a full-time worker, was announced in the 2024 Budget.
