UK chancellor Jeremy Hunt is to announce today an increase in the national living wage – effective from 1 April 2024 – at the Conservative Party Conference in Manchester. The figure will be hiked from £10.42 (€12) an hour to £11 (€12.68) an hour for employees aged over 23, marking an increase of 5.6%.
