Philadelphia State’s capital, Philadelphia will soon be one of the first US cities to make it illegal for employers to ask job applicants about their wage history. The aim is to tackle the gender wage gap, against a backdrop of a growing trend where associations are taking action with democrat majority held local authorities to secure some progress that they can no longer hope for at State or Federal level.
