Following the report published by the Portuguese weekly magazine, Expresso, on children in the north of Portugal who apparently work for one of the suppliers of the Inditex group, owner of Zara, Inditex's management announced, last 2 June, that it had found no "sign of infantile exploitation at its Portuguese suppliers". But Inditex promised to pay more attention to the respect of good behavior codes, which notably prohibit the recourse to child work, in collaboration with the Portuguese Ministry of Labour.
