  • EU: social partners in chemicals industry commit to improving working conditions for migrant workers

    In the wake of a union coordination meeting that was organized in Brussels by industriAll Europe in Brussels on 14 February at the close of a, trade unions from Germany, Austria, Belgium, the UK, Spain, France, Italy, Norway and Switzerland in both companies delivered a joint declaration (5.03), which emphasized ‘the significant uncertainty that still surrounds the Alstom-Siemens Mobility merger, a full five months after the merger announcement was made,” and it affirmed “a shared commitment to defend the future of jobs as well as safeguarding Europe’s rail equipment sector.”
