Eager to enhance its omnichannel business and encourage all 13,000 staff to adapt to changes, the Chalhoub group has set up a transition programme from January 1st 2018. This will spread over 10 phases of 90 days. “In our assessments, 3% of sales are currently from omnichannel as a mix of online and offline processes”, said the group. “Within five years, 70% should be omnichannel, with only 25% derived from our stores and 5% from pure online”.
