Phygital, marketplace. With 20 stores in France and Italy, museum shop specialist Arteum is investing in digital services. How to address a new audience online when the offer is associated with a physical experience in a museum? What is the business model of these stores managed under concession? How was Arteum born?

LD: In 2008, after spending 10 years at the Paris Opera, I wanted to participate in the democratisation of art and culture. I launched a concept store (under the Arteum banner) in shopping centres with an offer of artistic and cultural products at accessible prices. Over time, we opened 4 stores, about 20 corners in malls in France and launched a franchise in Japan (1 flagship and 20 corners).
