The German footwear retailer Birkenstock reopened a store in the Dubai Mall (80 million visitors per year) in late January 2020. Operated by local partner Apparel Group (which runs 1,750 stores of 75 retail brands), it is the first in the Middle East featuring its new retail concept. This reflects the brand’s close relationship with nature and traditional commitment to sustainability.
