In the fiscal year to March 2017, L’Occitane posted a €132 million margin.This is the highest since 2010, while sales grew by 3.2% to €1.32 billion (with 11% online). Brazil recorded the strongest growth pace, with sales up by 30%, driven by the stronger Brazilian Real currency. Sales jumped by 15.5% in Japan and by 11% in China. Since the pro-democracy campaign of September 2014, the economic situation remains difficult in Hong Kong.
