In the U.K., rising prices are reducing consumer purchasing power. According to Foxinteligence, the average number of items per e-commerce basket fell  from 3.1 a year ago to 2.8 in June 2023. “Since January 2022, we are seeing that the number of items per order has been falling due to the cost of living crisis,” said Foxintelligence in a press release. While the average online basket rose steadily in 2022, it is now falling, from €47.7 at the end of 2022 to €41.7 at the end of June 2023″. That’
