On Monday 25th April, the European Commission published a list of 19 online services, including 17 “very large online platforms (V.L.O.P.s)”, subject to legal obligations under the Digital Services Act. The D.S.A., which came into force on 16th November 2022, requires publishers of online platforms and search engines with more than 45 million active monthly users in the E.U. to be transparent and accountable to the law.
