Discount supermarket chains Aldi and Lidl are ready to accelerate home delivery, meeting an increasing demand for online shopping as driven by the Covid-19 crisis.Aldi announced the extension of its partnership with Deliveroo for home delivery and is expanding click & collect in the U.S. from 600 to 2,000 points of sale by the end of July. Lidl is piloting click & collect in Polish stores.
