Dollar General is rolling out self-check-out

By the end of December, the discount retailer Dollar General (DG) will replace traditional checkouts with a “self-check-out” system in 200 of 18,000 stores.

To date, 8,000 units already have this system alongside traditional check-outs, and the company set up a target of 11,000 stores by the end of 2022.
