Samsonite International global sales for the third quarter rose by 5.2% to US$945.2 million. Sales in Asia rose by 7.2% to US$324.2 million. The company reports that Asian sales growth was primarily driven by the Tumi brand. The Tumi brand sales in Asia surged 27.7% year-on-year. Samsonite International sales in Japan alone grew 12.5% in the third quarter, driven by Tumi and Samsonite’s own brands.
