The Swedish fashion retailer Monki (owned by H&M Group) is targeting young women aged from 15 to 25, describing style as a cross between Scandi chic and Asian street fashion. The firm will launch in the United Arab Emirates in June 2019, with a store in Abu Dhabi’s Yas Mall. A second Monki store is expected to open in the new Al Maryah Central Mall later in 2019, highlighting the brand’s imaginative universe with shimmering furniture, sunshine-drop lights and chandeliers.
