Sales are up 28% year-over-year, driving an aggressive growth plan. As do other dollar-store companies like Dollar General and Family Dollar, Five Below sells everything from books to clothes for under US$5. It plans 125 new stores by the end of 2018 in addition to the current 625 stores. A flagship is expected on New York’s Fifth Avenue.
