The low-cost decoration and gadget chain Flying Tiger Copenhagen (858 stores worldwide, 2021 turnover of €510 million up by 8.5%) decided to halve dependence on virgin plastic by 2025 (versus 2019).

Since December 2022, the subsidiary of the Zebra holding headed by Martin Jermiin has been gradually phasing out games made from virgin plastic, including wooden chess sets, metal, glass or ceramic jewellery. When no alternative material is available, products use recycled plastic.
