According to a 4th edition of the Floa – Kantar barometer measuring changes in payment practices in Europe (4,916 respondents), 66% of French people used a payment by instalments solution in 2024, a drop of 4 points in a year. 40% of French people used this service on a recurring basis (-4 points as well). In 60% of cases, BNPL is used for tickets of less than €300. The proportion of very frequent BNPL users (more than 8 instalment purchases per year) has halved, in favour of regular users...
