Since October 2022, the Japanese company Wamazing has been developing automated “click & collect” for duty free purchases thanks to a system of automated lockers in airports.

The customer journey is as follows. A traveller goes to the website www.wamazing.com/kaimono and chooses from among the 6,900 items on offer such as beauty, food or baby products.
